To celebrate World Environment Day, Lawma Academy presents INTERNS HANGOUT-themed “AMBASSADORS OF A SUSTAINABLE EARTH”.

The Managing Director/CEO of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni has appealed to residents and corporate bodies to join forces with the Authority to tackle the menace of plastic pollution in the state, by engaging in recycling.

The Pakam Application is an Uber like mobile application system which was designed to support the Lagos recycle Initiative by connecting households to Initiative by connecting households to aggregators/recyclers closest to them.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has launched LAWMA Academy, the education arm of Lagos waste management Authority, with the aim of promoting knowledge and awareness creation on effective waste management, especially among the younger generation of Lagosians.

LAWMA Academy appreciates everyone that participated in the essay competition.

On the 24th of October, 2021, The MD/CEO LAWMA, Mr Ibrahim Odumboni lead his team(LAWMA staff) on the clean up exercise of the major highways in Lagos State.

The Train the Trainer program was an engaging and enlightening session for all participants both physically and virtually.

The Lagos Waste Management Authority, (LAWMA) @lawma_gov is collaborating with the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, (LASUBEB), @lagos_subeb to incorporate waste management in the curriculum of primary schools in the state, as a way of re-orientating the younger generations for sustainable environment.

On Friday, student representatives from pampers private school visited the Academy for their project "The Earth Cries"

The Team was warmly received by Ms. Temitope Dosunmu the commercial manager and Mr. Daniel Adedokun,the Head Geo-cycle Big.Plc that took the team through the Geo-cycle co-processing facility and explain all operations in details.
