LAWMA Academy’s summer school officially commenced on the 9th of August 2021 with both physical and virtual classes.As an opening to the class, the children were asked questions in line with waste management which earned them gifts. They were further trained on how to create flowers using waste paper and crepe paper.
Also, the children engaged in basket making using old newspapers and glue.
During their classes, they learnt about Health, Safety and COVID-19 protocols, Recycling, Waste management and the Environment.
In addition, a day was set aside for catering and they were taught how to make Beef Burger, Chicken Sandwich and sharwama.
